SAMMY MILLER MUSEUM - HENDERSON MOTORCYCLES: Manufactured by William (Bill) Henderson initially in 1911, Henderson sold his interest in the Henderson brand to the Schwinn Factory in 1917, he then went on to found the ACE Company. Following his untimely death in 1922, Henderson's four cylinder design continued to be built by the Schwinn Factory into the 1930's at which time Schwinn ceased manufacturing motorcycles.
1916: HENDERSON: This motorcycle was powered by a four cylinder in-line engine of 1,063cc which was subsequently enlarged to 1,301cc. The gearbox was a two speed hub type.
1926: HENDERSON MODEL K: This motorcycle was powered by a four cylinder in-line engine of 1,300cc driving through a three speed gearbox.
