Brisbane Motor Show - Feb. 2008:
The 'first' general Motor Show of the year in Australia
included new motorcycles from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, Yamaha and all other
Major Motorcycle Manufacturers were um, missing! Motorcycle only shows are
'much' better! Notable models included the 'Limited Edition' LE Hayabusa and the
'underslung exhaust' Honda Fireblade!!
Latest version of the Honda CB1300. The 'Limited Edition' Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa, first time for the 'LE' in Australia and the allocation, only 150 units. Honda have a large single pipe on the CB1300. New Honda Fireblade, spot the Exhaust Pipe!!! Fireblade Exhaust now gathered under the engine, exiting very low under the Riders right peg. So, it should be interesting for the RHS Pillion's foot! Suzuki M109R, a spectacular looking Motorcycle. Huge rear tyre on the M109R. Kawasaki ZX10R, looks great 'except' for the front blinkers, why hang off the handlebar, put em in the Blinker Pods! The ZX10R also has a more compact Exhaust System, not as well done as the Fireblade however. Kawasaki KLR650, watercooled and looked very rideable. Looks a great Dual Purpose Motorcycle with minimal bulk.
