Australian Motorcycle Shows:
I try to attend as many Motorcycle Shows as possible, there is certainly a trend
happening in Australia, Car Shows that have survived are now reduced to bi-annual with some
previously annual Car Shows totally stopped. Motorcycle Shows are still
going strong and they are boosted by Extreme Motocross and in the case of the
Gold Coast Shows in Queensland, Jet Ski shows as well! My records of
recent shows I have visited are covered below...

GOLD COAST
M'CYCLE EXPO - Feb. 2010:
All happening, well apart from Honda that is.
Motorcycles, Jet Skis, Extreme Motocross and Jet Ski displays and the
Custom Choppers, they're getting wilder! The star of the show, definitely
the 2010 Kawasaki ZR1000EAF ABS! The 'clickable

SYDNEY
MOTORCYCLE SHOW - Nov. 2009:
A great show, horrid 'hot' weather kept the attendance
figures down, I had hoped the Show, which was timed to coincide with the
last motorcycle race at Sydney's Oran Park would boost attendance at 'both'
venues, sadly it wasn't to be. The 'clickable

GOLD COAST M'CYCLE EXPO - Feb. 2009:
Wow, just metres from my doorstep, both Troy Bayliss and
Chris Vermeulen were rumoured to be attending, in fact 'opening the show'. It
didn't quite happen that way but otherwise there were some great exhibits.ll

The full gambit, including a NOS Police Harley,
a replica of the first motorcycle and the outrageous Helicopter Powered

The 'first' general Motor Show of 2008 in Australia
included new motorcycles from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, Yamaha and all other
Major Motorcycle Manufacturers were um, missing! Motorcycle only shows are
'much' better! Notable models included the 'Limited Edition' LE Hayabusa and the
'underslung exhaust' Honda Fireblade!! The 'clickable image' is
